Robert Moore - Director of Golf

PGA Qualified
Robert has been a professional since 1988 and started his professional career at St Mellion Golf and Country Club. On qualifying as a PGA Member he spent nine years as Head Professional at China Fleet, and two years as Golf Professional in Hamburg, Germany, returning to Cornwall as Head Professional at Trethorne Golf Club, prior to his appointment as Director of Golf at Boringdon Park in 2009.

Robert is also a very experienced and accomplished teacher; his simple, uncomplicated approach to teaching makes him successful with beginners, intermediate and advanced players.
Prior to arriving at Boringdon Park, Robert has played on the European Tour, Challenge Tour, Tarten Tour as well as National PGA and West region events. 

Jamie O’Hara PGA - Teaching Professional

PGA Qualified
Jamie started his golfing carreer age 8, at the Budock Vean Golf Club. After a successful spell at Budock Vean, which included breaking the course record, Jamie joined Tehidy Park. Success followed and he soon became a member of the Cornwall County Squad before joining the professional ranks in 2004.

His first professional post being the East Devon Golf Club where he was instrumental in restructuring their junior coaching program, something that resulted in a vast increase in the number of children both training and playing at the club. After several recommendations the St Mellion Resort Academy approached Jamie and he duly joined in July 2007 where he developed the Junior Academy and played an active role in corporate coaching, both assisting and taking sessions.

He has now joined Plymouth’s newest Golf club, Boringdon Park Golf Club, since the 1st of July 2009 as a Teaching Professional and is looking forward to seeing this new venture developing.

Myriam Marquis-Lefebvre - Events Administrator
Myriam has had a keen interest in the Travel & Tourism industry from a young age. She began working in the Hotel Industry in 2002 at the Crown Paradise Hotel in Cancun, Mexico and returned in 2005 to the Riu Caribe Hotel for the second time before starting her University studies back in Canada. She graduated from the University of Quebec in Montreal in 2008 with a BA in Tourism Management, while studying at European Business School of London as an exchange student for a year.  Settled in Plymouth since August 2008, she worked at Princess Yachts International until joining Boringdon Park Golf Club in February 2010 as Event Administrator.

Lauren joined Boringdon Park in September 2009 as one of the original bar team and was recently promoted to Bar and Restaurant Manager.
